ANTIQUE / VINTAGE GOLD AND SILVER CAMEO BROOCHES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising one with a Jasperware cameo under glass in a gold or heavy rolled gold frame that tests as 10K gold fineness with back engraved "Presented / by Ann Longton / to Ellen Fleetwood. / In Memory of / Ellen Mottershead / died 12th Jan. 1846 / Aged 36", and three carved shell cameo pieces consisting of a large example featuring a bearded man in a gold or heavy rolled gold frame that tests as 14K gold fineness, and two of women in sterling silver and 0.800 silver frames having pendant hanging loops. Two women shell cameos marked for silver fineness, other two tested. 19th and early 20th century. Man cameo 1 7/8" x 2 3/8" OA.Provenance: From a private Virginia collection.
