盘形周正，满施金彩釉，釉色均匀，富丽华贵、金碧辉煌。清康熙时期，皇帝致力恢复景德镇御窑发展，创新品种涌现，名冠后世。金釉为其中名贵品种，其制作工艺繁复，先高温烧制白瓷，于器面涂刷金粉，再置低温窑炉烘烧成器。咸丰年间，御窑厂曾被焚毁，长期停烧，故遗留下来的官窑甚为罕见。此件金釉盘精致华丽，甚为珍罕。
