撇口、斜直腹向下微收、圈足，施胭脂红釉，素面无纹饰。
胭脂红釉创烧于清康熙末年，是受西洋珐琅工艺传入的一种釉。它是以金作为着色剂，在炉内经过800℃左右的低温烧烤而成的低温红釉。近代收藏家由于看这种红色如胭脂之色，略带粉调，习惯称其为胭脂红。
