此盘内粉彩绘花卉、翠竹与葫芦藤蔓，过枝到盘外壁枝干相连，花叶相属。花卉绮丽多姿；竹枝挺拔，节节高升，葫芦藤蔓缠绕，多子多实，寓意岁岁平安，福禄万代。过枝纹又称“过墙花”，是一种特殊构图的纹饰，宛如花枝越过墙头，从外壁伸至内墙。过枝纹流行于清代，以雍正、乾隆、道光、光绪等朝为盛，此艺术手法富有诗意，令人称绝。
