A Chinese framed embroidered panel depicting a processional scene featuring 20 figures. All of the figures are children holding flags, ruyi wands, and riding mythical beasts. The children are surrounded by floral motifs. Dimensions are: framed 40 1/2 inches tall X 35 1/4 inches wide, 102.87 cm X 89.535 cm; the embroidery measures 34 1/2 inches tall X 29 1/2 inches wide, 87.63 cm X 74.93 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are areas of the stitching that are missing and worn away over time and there are loose threads throughout the piece.
