A Chinese famille rose vase dating from the Republic period. The body features colorful chrysanthemums, and the neck has a xian string pattern. The bottom of the vase has a 2-character mark. Dimensions are: 5 3/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches in diameter, 14.6 cm X 5.7 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are four chips to the rim and glaze loss to the neck.
