Helzer (1946-2008), Founder of Unicover Corporation.This painting was originally published on the Fleetwood First Day Cover for the Great Britain RAF 50th Anniversary block of four stamps issued September 16, 1986.Great Britain's Royal Air Force was created in 1918 when the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service were officiallybined. In 1986, Great Britain celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the reorganization of the RAF into themands which carried the service through its most challenging years. In honor of this anniversary, Great Britain issued five stamps featuring five of Great Britain's greatest fighting planes and men who helped build the RAF into the force it is today.
