A lovely Egyptian faience bead necklace, Late Period, ca. 664 - 332 BC. It is 20 in. long and isprised of fine faience tubular and disk beads in a nice variety of colors. A beautiful 24 mm long, green faience amulet of the Warrior Goddess Sekhmet, the patron of physicians and healers. She is depicted wearing a solar disk headdress featuring Uraeus, a representation of a sacred cobra as an emblem of supreme power. (E115)
