School of Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), Attributed to Mania Kacer (1870-1970), Bust of a man, 1913, France, Bronze, signed to the left 'Paris 1913' and the initials "MK', with impressed foundry mark 'MONTAGUTELLI FRES CIRE PERDUE PARIS'. Mania Kacer (or Kačer) was a pupil of Rodin and was active as both a painter and a sculptor. She sculpted in a naturalistic style. Born in Warsaw and of Czech and German descent, she exhibited at The Salon d'Automne in October 1909.
