此盘为定窑产品中的经典之作，盘敞口，弧形浅腹，矮圈足，内外均施象牙色白釉。较同类作品特殊之处在于，此件盘心刻画龙纹，刀工古朴雅致，不见滞涩，龙身轮廓线外另加复线以增强立体感，盘龙全身披鳞挂甲，龙有三爪，体态矫健，昂首张口，双目圆睁，其技艺之高，丝毫不逊于同期书画之极精品者。而盘内外素白无纹，突出主题龙纹，故整体观之，愈见精妙。定窑刻画花器物比印花制作早，而三爪龙纹应为南宋至元代的龙纹典型风格。故而此件龙纹器物贵在属定窑官制之器 参考：西泠印社 2018年秋季拍卖会 中国历代瓷器专场 Lot号1906。
