该炉口沿微侈，敞口，直壁，腹部凸印八卦纹，下有圈足和三蹄足。器小而精致，釉面粉青匀泽纯正，胎密致厚重，制形雄浑大气，为龙泉窑佳器。龙泉窑其所制之瓷，以釉色青碧，釉层厚润见长，享有“青如玉、明如镜、声如磬”的“陶瓷之花”之美名。在五彩缤纷的青瓷世界中，龙泉青瓷后来居上，超越群伦，以其独特的风格和绝代的风姿直登青釉的艺术高峰。此炉外腹堆贴的八卦纹，为古代瓷器装饰的典型宗教纹样之一，主要象征天、地、雷、风、水、火、山、泽8种自然现象。道教经籍中以八卦衍释经义。 参考：北京保利 八周年春季拍卖会 中国古董珍玩I 专场Lot 8371
