On the back there is a support with carved auspicious ornament and scrolling ruyi, have five drawers, two on the top, and three on lower row. The door is mounted with lock plate and the door surface carved with wanzi, ruyi and scrolling tendril. The whole supported on legs of rectangles square section joined by stepped stretchers on hoofed foot. The HuangHuaLi wood displays a dense hardwood, with deep-brown strikes over golden-black shades tone and translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns and sweet fragrance of huali distinguishes it from the similar appearing but pungent-adored hongmu. It is intact, with exquisite mortise-tenon technique.
