From a series of medals designed AAU awards - This one is from 1906 and is inscribed on the reverse with "200 Yds Relay Race, Feb 21-24 1906" Nice bronze patina, it is scarce as a medal. This one is one of the original Robert Stoll production while later ones were struck by Augustus Frank. Obverse depicts Victory offering a laurel wreath and reverse has all the different sports encircling the engraved contest with VD Brenner Fecit (Made this) R Stoll strike. Loop at top for suspension Smedley #2, obtained 3/89 from The Smedley Collection.
