茄皮紫为高温釉颜色釉。以锰作呈色剂，因釉色像成熟的茄子皮一样的光润，故名。此尊唇口，圆腹，圈足，造型端庄秀丽，器型规整，瓷胎紧密，通体施茄皮紫釉，釉面莹润，釉色凝重深沉。整件作品造型别致，光素古雅，贵气内敛，观赏性极强，颇可赏玩。
