Zheng Banqiao (1693-1766), formerly known as Zheng Xie, with the word Kerou, named Li'an, and also known as Banqiao, he was called Mr. Banqiao, a native of Xinghua, Jiangsu, and his ancestral home was Suzhou. Calligrapher, painter and writer of Qing Dynasty. He was a scholar of Kangxi, and he was a scholar in the tenth year of Yongzheng, and a scholar in the first year of Qianlong (1736). Official of the county magistrates of Fanxian County and Weixian County, Shandong Province, he has notable political achievements. Zheng Banqiao only painted orchids, bamboos, and stones throughout his life.
