A letter sent from Chen Lifu to Zhang Guangtao with an envelope. The letter consists of two pages of ink on paper writing. Dimensions are: each page measures 12 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide, 30.5 cm X 21.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution photos can be found here. Condition: There is creasing and minor spotting to the pages of the letter. One side of the envelope is torn, and it has staining and creasing. Provenance: From the estate of Zhang Guangtao. Mr. Zhang was born in 1910 and was a member of the first National Assembly in 1948.来源：來自上款人張光濤先生子女。張光濤， 中華民國首屆立法委員。河北欒城人，1910年(清宣統二年)生。畢業於國立北平師範大學教育系。曾任欒城鄉村師範學校校長，湖北省教育廳主任秘書，湖北省立教育學院副教授。1947年3月，任國民政府內政部秘書。1948年，當選為立法院立法委員。中華人民共和國成立前去臺灣，任「立法委員」，並參加教育委員會，仍召集委員，「國劇研究推行委員會」委員兼總幹事。著有《中國教育新編》、《鄉村教育概論》、《宋詞試譜》等。
