A Chinese silk embroidered marriage skirt, Qing Period, the rows of stylised flowering plants within black borders decorated with blue flowerheads, waist 68cm, length 58cm and two panels heavily decorated with bright multi coloured foliage and butterflies, 54 x 30cm and 33.5 x 36.5cm. Condition report: There are sections of loose thread that have caused some parts of the skirt panels to become detached, some slight staining which is to be expected of a garment of this age.
