Remarkable Thai Walking Buddha Bronze Plaque. Remarkable styling, with a unique crown and halo, and animated face. I am not positive where exactly it was made-quite different than Sukhothai classic style- may even be Burmese. I believe it is at least 17thC and possibly a century or 2 earlier. I do not believe it is later based on the patina, wear, and styling, but I did not examine this outside the protective case. Size is large for his type at 5 inches tall, plastic amulet case height is 5.75 inches.
