Three items in this lot include the ceramic "Yellow Submarine" with authentication information under the lid stating that this cookie jar is number 568 out of 10,000 produced. The lot also includes two flat metal sculptures, one of the "Yellow Submarine" and the character, the "Blue Meanie" from the Beatles 1968 movie "The Yellow Submarine". Both sculptures are signed in the rear by the artist in gold sharpie. Dimensions are: Cookie jar: 9 1/4 inches tall X 13 1/4 inches wide; 23.49 cm tall X 33.65 cm wide. Blue Meanies: 11 3/4 inches tall X 11 inches wide: 29.84 cm tall X 27.94 cm wide. Yellow Submarine: 8 3/4 inches tall X 12 inches wide; 22.22 cm tall X 30.48 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Paint scratches in the "Blue Meanie" sculpture. Provenance: From a Northern Virginia collection.
