Peter Layton Cheesman (1897-1982). An archive of RPPC and embroidered postcards, souvenir books, service medal, catalin cigarette holder and an album of several unpublished WWI photos. A few later pieces including WWII postcard, likely from his son. All housed in a small lockbox as found. Dimensions are: Box: 3 5/8 inches tall X 12 1/4 inches wide X 7 1/4 inches deep; 9.2 cm tall X 31.11 cm wide X 18.41 cm deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Yellowing due to age and some edges torn due to normal handling of mail. Provenance: From a private Maryland collection.
