Sometimes referred to as the High Priest of Every Temple, the pharaoh represented the gods on Earth. He performed rituals and built temples to honor the gods and he himself was treated like one. The people of his land would offer him the finest and most valuable goods from their land. This bust sculpture depicts a grand Pharaoh sitting upon his throne stoically, while his people worship at his altar.
