A Chinese celadon-ground blue and white floor vase dating from the 19th century. It features a pack of guardian lions with ruyi clouds. The handles are in the form of guardian lions with cubs. Dimensions are: 23 1/4 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 59.1 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a star crack to the base. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
