A Chinese round bronze ding with a lid dating from the Warring States period. The lid features three beasts, and the body has three beast head legs. It has a pair of vertical handles. Dimensions are: 6 1/2 inches tall X 6 3/4 inches wide, 16.5 cm X 17.1 cm. Weight: 1750 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Use and age wear. Provenance: From a private New York City collection. A similar example is housed in the collection of the Hunan Provincial Museum as well as in the Beijing Capital Museum.
