An assembled pair of Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel open salts with two salt spoons, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1899-1908. The circular bodies each resting on three ball feet completely decorated in multi-color scrolling foliate motifs. The spoons of modified sixteenth- and seventeenth-century form with round bowls and hook handles, the back of one of the spoons with a stylized tulip in shades of red, magenta, yellow, and blue against a cream ground, one of identical shape and with a similar stylized tulip against a pale green ground. Struck with maker's marks and 88 silver standard (salt, the green ground salt spoon), the cream ground salt spoon 84 silver standard. Diameter of salts: 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm). Length of spoons: 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm).
