An antique Russian gem-set miniature pendant Easter egg. The gold egg with a three-petal blossom set with a blue topaz & two rose cut diamonds, the lower half pierced on both sides with basketwork with a leaf in one corner. Struck with partial Cyrillic maker's marks VV, 56 gold standard, & a hallmark for 1908-1917. Height including only smaller suspension ring: 11/16 in. (1.5 cm).
