本件拍品气势凶悍，刀身锻造精细钢质极佳，制作规范。一宽一窄两道血槽亦极规整，保存状态一流，或为明末清初之物。刀身前部约四分之一处开有反刃，刀尖上翘线条流畅优美。刀身根部浮雕有龙首吞口，形象生动，颇为精彩。护手背面镂雕有二龙戏珠造型，起高折沿。柄箍和柄首均镂雕龙纹。刀柄后包木柄，外配缠绳。全长91.5厘米。
