GEORGIAN BRITISH KNITTED SIGNED AND DATED PIN-BALL / PINCUSHION, silk, finely knitted round form featuring "MARY / HORSFALL / APRIL 31 / 1772" to one side and "PREPARE / TO MEET / ThY / GOD" to the reverse, mid-section with applied dark silk ribbon. Presented in a mahogany display stand topped by a glass dome. Two pieces total. Dated 1772. 2" DOA. 1 1/2" H. Knitted components in very good overall condition with toning, light fading/fugitive color to some thread, applied ribbon in poor condition with shattering, losses, light fading, and spots of detachment, stand with some surface wear.
