He learned some flower sketching skills under Ju's family, and he also got the inspiration of predecessors' paintings from the famous paintings collected by the Wood Yi family. Therefore, in his paintings, there are both ancient charm and vitality of good fortune. Like Father Gao Jian and Chen Shuren, Joey Yung is one of Ju Lian's proud disciples. He is good at painting flowers and birds, and he is also good at characters, landscapes, and fine appreciation. He not only inherited the "Ju Pai" painting method, but also creatively developed the boneless flower to a new level, showing the artistic effect of fresh, natural and dripping ink. The figure painting he is good at has inherited the figure painting traditions of Chen Hongshou in the Ming Dynasty and Fei Danxu, Gai Qi, and Ju Lian in the late Qing Dynasty.
