蓝釉是瓷器釉色名。传统蓝釉，以天然钴土矿为着色剂，除含氧化钴外，还含有氧化铁和氧化锰。蓝釉最早见于唐三彩中。但这时还是低温蓝釉，只有绮丽之感，缺乏沉着色调。高温蓝釉的出现是在元代。入明以后，特别是在宣德时，蓝釉器物多而质美，被推为宣德瓷器的上品。至清康熙时，更出现洒蓝釉、天蓝等多种新品种。
