宝蓝釉,也叫霁蓝、祭蓝。创烧于元代景德镇窑，明代宣德年间与祭红、甜白并列为当时颜色釉的上品。霁蓝跟祭红一样，属于高温失透釉，以氧化钴为呈色剂，在生坯上挂釉，入窑经1200℃——1300℃的高温一次烧成，成色稳定。康熙时宝石蓝釉釉面有桔皮棕眼和气泡，分布比较均匀。也有的釉面出现垂流状。康熙和雍正年间的霁蓝釉都是仿明代宣德的品种，以盘、碗为仿制品。乾隆前期与康、雍差不多。而后期却更精致了。而清朝后期霁蓝很少，且都釉面不够均匀。
