A walnut aesthetic movement liqueur cabinet dating circa 1870. It comes with a pair of matching decanters, nine original glasses, and three period replacement glasses. Also includes the original key and tag with the owners' names, Herr and Frau Moriz Weinrich. Glasses and decanter sit in a footed tray that can be lifted out of the base. Top locked open by mechanism on right side of the lid. Burl Walnut accents with mitered wood trim. Dimensions: glasses, 3 5/16 inches tall X 1 1/8 inches diameter, 8.4 cm tall X 2.9 cm diameter. Decanter, 8 1/2 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches wide, 21.6 cm tall X 9.5 cm wide. Case, 11 1/2 inches tall X 15 inches wide X 9 3/4 inches deep, 29.2 cm tall X 38.1 cm wide X 24.8 cm deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One decanter has a crack at handle. Two of the original glasses have the bases ground down to repair chips. Foot on bottom of box has damage. Mitered trim loose on front right lower corner. Provenance: From an estate in Virginia, descended through the family.
