George W. Shiebler and Co (American, 1846-1920) sterling silver, enamel, Maintenon pattern circa 1895. A sterling silver and enameled sterling spoon. It is incised with CLD, sterling, and a maker's mark on the back. Dimensions: 10 inches tall X 2 3/4 inches wide; 25.4 cm tall X 7 cm wide. Weight: 123.7 grams (3.98 ozt.). All measurements are approximate. Condition: Some enamel is missing, scratching and light use wear. Provenance: From a collection in Northern Virginia.
