Sweetser Co. (NY, circa 1905) sterling silver and white jade dating from the Republic period. An art nouveau silver box with a Chinese white jade hairpin handle dating from the 18th to 19th centuries. The sides are decorated with landscape scenes, and the bottom is marked 'Sterling 6117 BE.' Dimensions: 4 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide; 10.2 cm tall X 15.9 cm wide. Weight: 450 grams (14.5 ozt.) All measurements are approximate.
