A Chinese gilt silver hand mirror with jade plaques dating from the Republic period. The larger plaque features 3 auspicious symbols; the smaller plaque features a deer, crane, and lingzhi. The silver features precious stones and a flower pattern. The handle features flowers and a bird. Dimensions: 10 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide; 25.4 cm tall X 10.8 cm wide. Weight: 294.2 grams.
