Dimensions: 4-1/4" H x 10-1/4" Diam. A Very Fine Chinese WuCai Dragon and Phoenix Porcelain Covered Round Box. Tapered Cylindrical shaped body, with slightly domed top, flat base. The top surface decorated with white glaze cavity in the center interior. Hand painting of a variety colors of peaceful carps surrounded by underwater floral motifs. Double blue thin rings banded the center top, along the rim, waist, and foot. The underside left unglazed, revealed a pale-creme ground. Mark on base, a vertical six underglazed blue script -KaiShu- characters mark, enclosed within a double fine rings, YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
