Dimensions: 5-1/4" H x 5-7/8" W Chinese Ming Dynasty bronze censer. Cast in a compressed globular body rising to a slightly everted rim, raised upon a three conical low legs. Two loop handles everted from the gathering lip. All resting atop a carved hardwood base in ruyi motif. The metal patinated to a warm dark brown tone and some milky blue-green encrustation.
