Dimensions: 6-7/8" H x 4-1/4" Dia. Stand: 1-1/8" H Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, QianLong bell vase. The porcelain potted in bell shape vase, globular lower body, rounded shoulder tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base and slighty concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a apple green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
