Dimensions: 16" H x 5-5/8" Diam. Antique, Chinese Ming Dynasty Chongzhen Reign Period, Large Vase blue and white flower vase. The vase potted in a Chinese porcelain traditional Gu shape. The beaker having baluster shaped body, with slightly arise belly, trumpet-shaped neck. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The neck adorned with immortals standing under the lush tree, beside Lishui water fall interspersed with fresh foliage in a salubrious garden landscape, the center belly decorated with scrolling interlocking tendril and scrolling ruyi. Upturning phoenix tail fastened on the for rim, enclosed with emerging white sing ring line. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
