Dimensions; 1.75in H x 9.75in W x 9.75in D Stunning Chinese Ming reversed blue porcelain charger. Potted in a broad wide cavetto and a shallow draft. The exterior is adorned with a domineering serpentine Dragon appeared amongst dense of painted blue glazed clouds and flames. The central dragon chasing a flaming pear amidst a flames and scrolling fume clouds and is flanked by two other dragons encircled the rim. Banded with white ring on outer lip The flaming pearl resembles spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power, immortality, thunder, or even the moon. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. Depictions are painted on top of a rich blue underglaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. Mark on base, a vertical six underglazed blue script -KaiShu- characters mark, enclosed within a double fine rings, Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
