Mirrored pair of Famille Rose vases, China, 2nd half of 20th century, slightly shouldered form with short, indented neck and flared lip rim. Very finely painted multi-figure scene with children in front of a bearded old man spreading a scroll, in the background a tree with a leaf. Opposite a corresponding poem calligraphy. Under the bottom of each a blue rubber stamp mark, h. 21 cm.
