拍品长颈，球形鼓腹，至下渐收，圈足。颈部轮廓秀美，腹部浑圆，器型严谨。通体施炉钧釉，釉面莹润光亮，釉色古朴雅致，如云如霓，翎羽光灿，如水如波，春茵繁茂。自然的垂流条纹，形似山峰水波纹，其间密布青色斑点，甚为华美。传世的清代炉钧釉以小件居多，像这样的天球大器则较为难得，且造型规整挺秀，稳重古雅，更见珍贵。
