A Chinese carved bamboo snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle is carved with a lotus pond scene with ducks, crabs, frogs, insects, and birds among lotus flowers, leaves, and pods. The wooden stopper is carved with a beast and has a spoon. Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches tall X 1 5/8 inches wide, 8.3 cm X 4.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: A few very minor cracks due to humidity, overall good condition.
