A Chinese famille rose snuff bottle with a 4-character Sheng De Tang mark on the bottom and dating from the Daoguang period. The snuff bottle depicts a pair of pigeons with bamboo on 1 side and a pair of dogs on the other. Dimensions: 3 inches tall X 2 inches wide; 7.6 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The snuff bottle is in good condition, the cork has disintegrated. Provenance: From a private collection in Southern California.
