A Chinese inside-painted snuff bottle by Ding Hong. The snuff bottle, which features a 3-character inscription and 1 seal, depicts 5 figures in a courtly garden. The snuff bottle has a goldstone stopper and a spoon. Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide, 8.3 cm tall X 6.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: A few tiny cracks and chips. Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s.
