宝石蓝釉，创烧于元代景德镇窑，明代宣德年间与甜白并列为当时颜色釉的上品。宝石蓝釉是以天然钴料为着色剂的高温失透釉，自创烧以来，元、明、清三代皆有烧造。本品浅直腹，板沿，平足。造型纤巧优美，内里、外壁通施宝石蓝釉，纯正艳丽如宝石，幽蓝深邃，蓝中泛紫，玻璃质感强烈。釉面不流不裂，蓝如深海，呈色稳定。足底无釉露胎，胎质洁白，犹如膏脂。 参阅：台北故宫《天宫宝物》p76
