数量1把山田宗光（1831-1908），加贺（石川县）出生，是幕末-明治时代的锻金家，号五郎平。其父为山田宗美，从永世开始研究加贺镶嵌技艺，江户时期开始学习锻金，以制作甲胄、象眼镫开始。维新后开始制作镶嵌技艺的置物，宗光世家以善长铜包银、铁包银工艺而著称。此壶造型高挑优雅，壶身以铜打造而成，点缀银制花卉纹饰，散发出优雅的质地感，高贵典雅。大小比例协调，参差有致。花苞摘钮再配以花朵纹饰，与壶身交相辉映，美感极强。流嘴短小可爱，出水流畅。
