和阗白玉质，造型小巧玲珑，玉质温润光洁。童子身着长衫站立侧视，左手执莲花搭于肩后，右手抱一盖盒置于胸前。童子身躯圆润，以阴线刻画聚拢的五官，虽琢磨简练，但神态却尤为活泼可爱。童子执莲始于宋代，后为历代沿用，寓意连年丰裕，且表达“连喜”之意。该童子取材质佳，刀工精练，清代特征鲜明，实为把玩传世之佳品。
