又名如麟，女，汉族，1914年1月生于江苏无锡。为实业家方寿额、王淑英之长女。11岁丧父，由母延师教读，中英文均有良好基础。1933年从钱松喦、陈旧村学山水、花鸟，自习书法，临习颜、柳楷书及王羲之小楷等。同年作品入选“无锡各社会团体书画联展”，1950年师事赵少昂前后3年，1953年师从张大千研习书画，其间入香港大学攻读获文学士学位。1951年至1955年先后举办个人书画展于东京、新加坡、马来西亚、槟城、伦敦、巴黎、瑞士洛桑等地。1956年入英国牛津大学研究楚辞两年，1957年与1958年先后应邀在德国慕
