伍彝生（b.1929），广东台山人。60年创办彝生画苑授徒至今，84年以艺术家身份从香港移民多伦多。对花鸟、山水、人物、素描无一不精，尤其绘写孔雀独步艺坛。现为加拿大中文学院大专学部美术系课程设计主任、安省中国美术会永远名誉会长、澳洲维多利亚国家画廊永远会员。张韶石（1913—1991）广东番禺人，少孤，依伯父张纯初生活并从其学画，后到汕头任图画教师。1932年回广州，曾临邓芬所画《浣纱图》，为其赏识，遂得从邓芬学画。
