此尊释迦牟尼像头饰螺发，头顶肉髻似塔状高高隆起，髻顶安有宝珠，大耳近乎垂肩，面相圆鼓，相容庄严，双目垂俯，神态宁静。宽肩细腰，身着袈裟，右肩搭袈裟边角，下身着僧裙。衣纹质感较强，衣物边缘錾刻纹饰精美。结跏趺端坐于双层束腰莲花宝座上，左手横置脐下结定印捧钵，右手下垂结触地印，表现释迦牟尼佛在菩提树下降魔成道的姿势。莲花座为双层束腰形式，造型规范，上缘饰有一周联珠纹；莲瓣宽大饱满，时代特征明显。座底原封藏，铜质细密，铸胎厚重，显示出内地铸造的明显特点；通体鎏金极为亮丽，光彩迷人。局部脱金，后背轻微磕碰
